Moritz Heinlein, member of the Chair of Process Automation Systems, took part in CDC conference, presenting his recent work and contributing to discussions on process systems and control.

At the 64th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC 2025) in Rio de Janeiro, Moritz Heinlein presented two recent research contributions from our group. The conference took place from December 10–12, 2025 and is one of the major international conferences in systems and control research.

The first paper, “Ellipsoidal partitions for improved multi-stage robust model predictive control”, was developed in collaboration with the SysCoP chair at the University of Freiburg and investigates new methods for robust model predictive control under uncertainty.

The second paper, “On the risk levels of distributionally robust chance constrained problems”, was carried out together with Teodoro Alamo and focuses on the analysis of risk levels in distributionally robust optimization problems.
